With James Bond’s next adventure, SKYFALL, almost ready to hit theaters, the people behind its creation are already looking toward the future. Part of that looking involves the signing of John Logan as script writer, so says Daily Mail. The script for SKYFALL was originally written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, but then Mr. Logan was called in for a rewrite; now he’ll be solo.
The plan right now is for the next Bond movie to start filming next year so it can be in theaters in 2014. The rumor going around is that Logan will be writing the next two movies as one large story arc…boo.
Without seeing SKYFALL its hard to judge this news, though I do hate the two movie thing. Seems like just another franchise trying to stretch out stories for a buck. Eh, I guess we’ll see.
