THE FAST AND FURIOUS franchise continues to gobble up and assimilate actors and actresses into its matrix of car-themed action. Case-in-point, Gina Carano is now set to join the cast of FAST 6 says Heat Vision. The ex-MMA fighter will be playing a member of DSS Agent Luke Hobbs’ team, played by The Rock.
I don’t know what the story will be this time or anything, but this is the type of movie that Gina was born to “act” in. A series built on kinetic movement, crap flying through the air, and only the necessary elements of plot…this is where she belongs.
I also long for the scene in which Gina smacks the one-note off of Michelle Rodriguez’s face. If such a scene occurs and Gina somehow loses it’ll be the greatest fight scene travesty since Burt Ward “fought” Bruce Lee to a standstill.
