I don’t know about you, but I love Tommy Guns! I don’t know why, but I think they are one of the coolest looking weapons ever conceived or at least tied with the Ultra Yo-Yo. It’s mostly because of what I just wrote that I’m looking forward to the movie THE GANGSTER SQUAD, which stars Nick Nolte, Ryan Gosling, Sean Penn, and the T-1000. It’s about some LAPD officers, back in the day, going to the X-TREME to keep gangsters out of their city. There’s also a trailer.
I was totally on board with this trailer until that rap music popped its head in. Not that I have anything against the song, but I have a particular hatred of modern music in my period movies. It always comes off as stupid or lazy. Other than that though we’re cool, movie.
