According to Deadline, Steven Spielberg has reached out to Chris Hemsworth, felt his rippling arms, and asked him to star in his big-budget Robots vs. Humans movie, ROBOPOCALYPSE. As of right now nothing has been signed, but why would Hemsworth turn this down? Why?!
ROBOPOCALYPSE is based on a book by Daniel H. Wilson, which is itself based on the real-life tale of people struggling to survive a robot uprising…that did happen, right? I could have sworn…
But yeah, Hemsworth is pretty awesome so he should be great in this if he does decide to make a crap-ton of moolah. Spielberg has been kind of hit-or-miss lately, but hopefully something this huge and full of robots will bring out the best in him again.
