I hope you’re sitting down because you may just faint after I tell you the latest news coming from Deadline. They have learned that Arnold Schwarzenegger will be returning to the world of the barbarian in THE LEGEND OF CONAN! Holy crap!
This new Conan movie will pick up where CONAN THE BARBARIAN left off, with an older Conan sitting on a throne and being awesome. This is what writer Chris Morgan had to say about the movie:
The original ended with Arnold on the throne as a seasoned warrior, and this is the take of the film we will make. It’s that Nordic Viking mythic guy who has played the role of king, warrior, soldier and mercenary, and who has bedded more women than anyone, nearing the last cycle of his life. He knows he’ll be going to Valhalla, and wants to go out with a good battle.
I honestly can’t believe that this movie is being made. I have wanted to see this movie made for like twenty years and now it’s finally happening! This is what the studio should have originally done instead of that stupid remake with the Hawaiian guy. I…I’m just so emotional right now…you just don’t know.
