It looks like the GREEN HORNET is dead. At least according to Drew McWeeny over at HitFix. It seems that Sony Pictures started to get a little nervous about the picture once Stephen Chow (who would have been playing Kato, otherwise known as the only-good-part-of-the-GREEN HORNET-because-it-was-played-by-BRUCE-friggin-LEE) began to vent his disinterest in it. And now it would seem that the picture won’t be shot in 2009 and may not be made at all. All I can say is “Thank God!” I mean, was anyone actually looking forward to this? Nothing says “box-office gold” like an action/Kung Fu/adventure movie starring this guy:

What the hell was Sony thinking to begin with. You know what, this was going to be the next BLANKMAN…there, I said it.
