I’m completely shocked right now. They actually made ANOTHER UNIVERSAL SOLDIER movie! No…seriously. There’s a trailer for it and everything! I know, right; ridiculous!
It’s called UNIVERSAL SOLDIER: DAY OF RECKONING and it once again stars Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren as universal soldiers. The hook this time though, is that Van Damme is the main bad guy and it falls on new recruit Scott Adkins to stop them from having loud meetings in the woods.

The violence level seems to be at a point that I find acceptable, so good job there.
This franchise had kind of been milked dry so making Van Damme the villain was probably the only way to breathe some life back into it. I don’t know if this Adkins guy can properly take the baton from Van Damme, but it’s definitely worth a shot.
I might actually give this a view…maybe.
