If you were not aware, professional film director McG will soon be creating a new version of 20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA. As of right now, he still hasn’t signed anyone to play his Nemo (that can sound dirty if you insert a “with” in the right place), but he would prefer to have Sam Worthington take on the role according to an interview he had with IGN.
Some might consider this casting strange considering that Nemo is supposed to be Indian and Worthington is very much white and pasty, but hey, this is McG’s 20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA, not Jules Verne’s! He can do whatever he damn well pleases. Or at least that’s what he tells himself. Must be nice inside McG’s head…nothing buy sunshine and rainbows.
