Holy crap! I can’t believe that this was actually a thing that existed! Heat Vision is reporting that Sony Pictures is looking to make a feature-length movie based on the old T.V. show MANIMAL. That’s right, there was once a T.V. show called MANIMAL! I love the human race sometimes.
Here’s a little info for those of you who don’t know your Manimal from your Canimal. MANIMAL starred Simon MacCorkindale as the awesomely named Jonathan Chase who was a crime-fighter with the ability to turn into any animal he wanted at will. Sony’s plan is to turn this amazing premise into a CG/live-action hybrid movie.
I hereby declare that MANIMAL could be the greatest movie of whatever decade it comes out in! The title itself sells it! My dream would be for this movie to be like an Indiana Jones adventure, but Indiana can turn into a squirrel when the need arises. This will be a winner.
