I haven’t written a whole lot about the upcoming spandex movie THOR, coming from Marvel Studios, which is a huge black-eye for this site…well, a mild headache anyway. So along comes me with some updates and such to rectify this error.
So, Kenneth Branagh is directing an adaptation of Marvel Comics THOR, who is the Norse god of Thunder who leaves his god realm to come to Earth so he can fight these guys:
Intensity levels...Rising!
The mighty thunder god would also occasionally run afoul of his trickster brother Loki, which would lead to fisticuffs.
This movie has managed to put together a pretty decent cast that includes Natalie Portman as the girlfriend, Tom Hiddelston as Loki, and Chris Hemsworth as Thor. Word comes down now that Thor’s father, Odin, has also been cast and will be played by Anthony Hopkins. That’s doin’ alright Thor.
This could be a pretty good movie, though I’m not a big Thor fan because the idea of a god coming to Earth to fight against robots alongside a guy with wings on his head and another guy who can shoot arrows well is pretty dumb.
