A new photo from the movie GAMER, starring a grizzled Gerard Butler, has popped up over at Aint It Cool. The picture can be seen below.

I’m not sure how I feel about this movie. If you don’t know, it’s set in a future where video-game players control actual people in war like situations with the actual people getting killed. The reason that this idea is lame to me, is because every time you see Gerard Butler do something heroic and cool, you know that it wasn’t his idea to do it…it was the moppy-haired GAP kid from the picture above. So you’ll see Gerard jumping behind a car to avoid a grenade while shooting some random cannon fodder guys (perhaps while screaming) and there will be explosions and maybe he’ll make a tough guy quip and you’ll say to yourself “man, that’s pretty damn cool!” And it’ll cut to a shot of the kid hitting X and Y a lot while high-fiving his friends and then you’re heart will sink like my butt on taco night.
