The title for THOR: THE DARK WORLD makes a little more sense today thanks to the news coming from Deadline that one, Christopher Eccleston will be playing a villain called Malekith the Accursed. Boy, sure does roll off the tongue doesn’t it.
Apparently, Malekith The Accursed is the leader of the Dark Elves of Svartalfheim. Yeah! Westside Svartalfheim forever!
I have no idea what Malekith brings to the table power-wise, except for a face that looks like he ate some of Willy Wonka’s gum, but if he’s a leader then at least he should have some goons to get rolled. And I do love me’s a good goon-rollin’!
