I saw some stuff for the movie LAWLESS a while back, but I honestly didn’t know what to do with it. There was violence in it, sure, but was there ACTION? With my keen action-sense refusing to tingle, I left it alone, but now there is a new trailer out that has a lot MORE violence, so I think I should at least put that up and call us square.
The movie is set during prohibition and is basically a hillbilly version of a mob movie. It stars Shia LaBeouf, Tom Hardy, and Jason Clarke as three moonshinin’ brothers who get in trouble with some lawmen who want a cut of their profits.

Geez, that guy must have drank like, ten gallons of gas! Even on my most parched days I couldn’t drink that much of a liquid I actually liked, let alone one that was eating my insides…man…what a boss.
Other than that though it doesn’t look too bad, though Shia seems to bring down every movie he’s attached to. I don’t know what it is about him. It’s weird, but he just looks wrong for every role he has ever been cast in. Is that even possible? Is Shia LaBeouf a universe-altering Warlock?
