It would appear that it isn’t all sunshine and unicorns in the 20th Century Fox offices. It seems that the big wigs that sign the checks that allow movies to get made don’t want to reboot ALIEN without Ridley Scott directing. This sucks for Carl Erik Rinsch, because he already got the “A-OK” from the Scott brothers to direct as was written a while ago. This new news comes from Entertainment Weekly.
This is fine by me. Either get Ridley to return to the franchise or kill the whole thing right now.
