Slick moves Van Damme! I especially liked when he kicked! I kid, I kid. Back in the day Van Damme was actually a really kick-ass kickboxer. I think he was like 18-1 in tournaments or something like that.
Also, if you can believe it, Jean-Claude is actually scheduled to fight Thai Olympic gold medalist boxer Somluck Kamsing this October in a kickboxing match, and I’m absolutely serious about that. You can read all about it over at Bloody Elbow. I really want to know who will be broadcasting this because I want to see it more than anything ever! Here’s hoping for an epic V.D. K.O.!
